iQOO 15 to Launch in India on November 26
iQOO has announced the upcoming launch of its iQOO 15 smartphone in India on November 26. The device, which was initially unveiled in China, is expected to be available for purchase through iQOO’s official Indian website and Amazon.in. Official pricing and specific sale date information are pending release.
While precise specifications for the Indian variant remain unconfirmed, historical precedent suggests potential differences compared to the Chinese and global models. For instance, the Indian version of the iQOO 13 featured a slightly smaller battery capacity compared to its global counterpart. Notably, the iQOO 15 is expected to maintain consistency across all regions in its core components, including the integration of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 System-on-Chip (SoC) and the OriginOS 6 operating system.

Assuming the Indian iteration mirrors the specifications of the Chinese/global versions, the iQOO 15 will likely feature a 6.85-inch 144Hz 1,440p LTPO AMOLED display. Furthermore, it is anticipated to offer configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. Powering the device is projected to be a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery, supporting 100W wired charging and 40W wireless charging capabilities.
The device is also expected to include an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance and a comprehensive camera array. This is expected to include a 32MP front-facing camera and a rear triple-camera system composed of a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide unit. Additional features anticipated include stereo speakers, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, an IR blaster, and NFC connectivity.
