The iQOO 15, slated for release this month, has had several key specifications officially confirmed. The device will incorporate wireless charging capabilities, a feature absent in previous generations of iQOO devices. This addition aligns with prior speculation and marks a significant hardware enhancement.
Furthermore, the iQOO 15 will be IP68 and IP69 rated for dust and water resistance, providing enhanced durability. It will also feature a new generation of ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, promising improved speed and accuracy compared to its predecessor, which initially introduced this technology within the iQOO product line.
The device’s USB-C port will support USB 3.2, enhancing data transfer speeds and compatibility. The iQOO 15 is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC. Additional confirmed specifications include a 6.85-inch QHD Samsung-manufactured AMOLED display, featuring a 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.
