Realme GT 8 Pro: Leaked Live Photo Reveals Key Specs Again.

Recent reports provide additional specifications for the anticipated Realme GT 8 Pro, slated for unveiling this month alongside the standard GT 8 model. While much of the information is not entirely novel, this new leak provides further insight into the device’s capabilities.
A key design element highlighted by Realme is the interchangeable camera island. This feature allows users to modify the aesthetic of the camera array by swapping different island designs. The positions of the camera modules themselves will remain constant. Realme has collaborated with Ricoh on this feature, with multiple island options anticipated. Visual evidence, including accompanying images, displays the device with two distinct camera island configurations. Initial promotional materials suggest at least three interchangeable designs will be available. The swapping process appears to involve the use of small screws, indicating a more involved process than a toolless mechanism.

Regarding specifications, the GT 8 Pro is rumored to feature a 6.78-inch QHD OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. This panel is expected to be a 10-bit, flat, LTPO type, manufactured by BOE. The device is anticipated to incorporate the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with up to 16GB of RAM. Power will be provided by a 7,000 mAh battery, supporting 120W charging capabilities.
The camera system of the GT 8 Pro is projected to be comprehensive, consisting of a 50MP LYT-808 primary sensor with a 1/1.4″ size and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide lens (likely a Samsung ISOCELL JN5), and a 200MP, 1/1.56″ HP5 periscope telephoto lens with telemacro functionality.
Additional features reportedly include enhanced audio and haptic feedback, as well as an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The device is expected to possess an IP69 rating, ensuring water and dust resistance, and will reportedly ship with Android 16, overlaid with Realme UI 7.
