vivo has released preliminary details regarding OriginOS 6, the latest iteration of its custom Android operating system. Significant enhancements are anticipated, including advanced artificial intelligence features, refined user interface (UI) animations, and improvements to the dynamic island visual element surrounding the front-facing camera cutout. The visual aesthetic of OriginOS 6 prominently features translucent UI elements and blurred backgrounds. This design direction, reminiscent of recent trends in mobile operating system aesthetics, may position vivo’s offering competitively in the market.
vivo plans to launch OriginOS globally on October 15 and has already announced an OriginOS 6 Preview Program for Android 16 updates for vivo and iQOO phones.
