iQOO 15 Unboxing Video Surfaces, Revealing Design and Features Ahead of October 20 Launch
The upcoming iQOO 15 smartphone is scheduled for unveiling on October 20, at an event in Shenzhen, China. Prior to the official launch, the brand has released images showcasing the device’s color options and design. An unboxing video, recently published on Weibo by AnTuTu, offers a comprehensive visual inspection of the flagship model.
The video features the Chinese Legend Edition of the iQOO 15. While the video is in Chinese, a detailed observation of the device’s physical characteristics is possible.
The iQOO 15 is presented in a black retail box. The rear panel, constructed with AG frosted glass and an AF coating, displays the “Monster Inside” text alongside the iQOO logo. A distinctive blue and red design element highlights iQOO’s collaboration with BMW M Motorsport for the Legend Editions.
Visual analysis indicates a flatter rear panel design compared to its predecessor, the iQOO 13. The camera array, housing three lenses, maintains a similar design to the iQOO 13, with the LED flash units now positioned around the camera island’s ring.
Rumors suggest the iQOO 15 will incorporate a 7,000 mAh battery, representing a significant upgrade from the iQOO 13 models. The global and Chinese versions of the iQOO 13 featured a 6,150 mAh battery, while the Indian variant incorporated a 6,000 mAh cell.
iQOO has not yet released the complete specifications sheet for the iQOO 15. However, confirmed features include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 system-on-chip (SoC), the latest OriginOS 6 operating system, a 6.85-inch 144Hz 2K display, and a dedicated Q3 gaming chip. The device is also confirmed to have IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and will support wireless charging.
