Oppo Unveils Find X9 Series: Flagship Smartphones Featuring Dimensity 9500 and Advanced Camera Systems

Oppo has launched the Find X9 series, introducing two models: a mid-sized and a larger variant, mirroring the company’s approach from previous generations. The series is equipped with the new Dimensity 9500 chipset, promising significant performance and efficiency gains.

Dimensity 9500 Chipset:

The Dimensity 9500 chipset delivers notable performance improvements compared to its predecessors. The CPU performance has increased by 32%, the GPU by 33%, and the NPU has experienced a substantial 111% increase. Concurrently, the chipset demonstrates enhanced efficiency, with the CPU, GPU, and NPU achieving 55%, 42%, and 56% improvements, respectively.

Display and Design:

Both Find X9 models feature 120Hz OLED displays. These displays offer a full-screen brightness of up to 1,800 nits and peak brightness of up to 3,600 nits in outdoor mode. Furthermore, the displays can dim to a minimum of 1 nit, catering to low-light viewing environments.

Oppo Find X9 Specifications:

The base Find X9 model features a 6.59-inch display, maintaining the same size as its predecessor. A notable upgrade is the battery capacity, now reaching 7,025mAh, a 1,395mAh increase over the X8. Charging speeds remain unchanged, supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, along with 10W reverse charging capabilities.

Oppo Find X9 Pro Specifications:

The Find X9 Pro features a larger 6.78-inch 120Hz display, also matching its predecessor’s size. This model also incorporates an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.

Camera System:

The Find X9 Pro features a 200MP Hasselblad camera with a 1/1.56” sensor employing pixel-level calibration and DCG-HDR technology. This sensor is paired with a Hasselblad-certified 70mm lens with an f/2.1 aperture, complemented by a Prism Hybrid OIS with Active Optical Alignment. The telephoto camera is a significant upgrade from the X8 Pro’s 73mm tele camera with a smaller 50MP 1/1.95” sensor.

Video Capabilities:

The Find X9 series emphasizes video capture capabilities. Motion Photos are a capture option. For extended recordings, users can utilize a log mode or Dolby Vision. All cameras support 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video recording, while the primary and telephoto cameras can achieve up to 4K 120fps.

Find X9 Camera Details:

The more affordable Find X9 model has a 50MP main camera utilizing the 1/1.4” LYT-808 sensor with an f/1.6 lens and OIS, replacing the X8’s 50MP 1/1.56” LYT-700 sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. A 50MP 73mm periscope (f/2.6 lens with OIS) utilizing the 1/1.95” LYT-600 sensor is included. The ultra-wide module is 50MP 15mm (f/2.0 AF lens and 1/2.75” Samsung JN5 sensor). The phone also includes a True Color Camera, with a 9-channel multi-spectral sensor.

Both the Oppo Find X9 and Find X9 Pro are rated with IP66, IP68, and IP69 water resistance certifications.
