Poco F8 Ultra Certified: Imminent Launch Implied, Early Release Hinted.

The Poco F8 Ultra, a potential successor to the Poco F7 Ultra launched in March, has recently obtained certification for sale in Thailand through the NBTC. The certification, which confirms the model number 25102PCBEG, suggests an earlier-than-expected release for the F8 Ultra, diverging from the traditional annual F-series product cycle.
Speculation regarding the F8 Ultra’s identity points towards a potential rebranding of a Redmi device. Early rumors suggested the Redmi K90 Pro as the base model, however, the recent unveiling of a Redmi K90 Pro Max has introduced further complexity. The K90 Pro Max, as indicated by Xiaomi’s promotional material, is poised to be the flagship of the Redmi series. This suggests the Poco F8 Ultra could potentially be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max.
Preliminary specifications of the Redmi K90 Pro Max include a 6.9-inch OLED display with DC dimming across the entire brightness spectrum. Further confirmed features include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 System-on-Chip (SoC), a primary camera employing a 1/1.31″ sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera capable of 5x optical zoom. The official announcement of the Redmi K90 Pro Max is expected in the coming days, which will likely provide more concrete information and refine the prevailing market expectations.
