Early rumors suggested the Redmi K90 Pro as the base model, however, the recent unveiling of a Redmi K90 Pro Max has introduced further complexity. The K90 Pro Max, as indicated by Xiaomi’s promotional material, is poised to be the flagship of the Redmi series. This suggests the Poco F8 Ultra could potentially be a rebranded Redmi K90 Pro Max.
Preliminary specifications of the Redmi K90 Pro Max include a 6.9-inch OLED display with DC dimming across the entire brightness spectrum. Further confirmed features include the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 System-on-Chip (SoC), a primary camera employing a 1/1.31″ sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a periscope telephoto camera capable of 5x optical zoom.
