Apple’s iPhone Air Production Unchanged: Report Debunks Production Cut Claims.

Apple iPhone Air Production Forecasts Remain Unchanged, Contradicting Prior Reports
Recent reports have suggested that Apple is reducing production volumes of the upcoming iPhone Air, initially unveiled last month. Some sources even indicated a potential phasing out of this model. However, a newly released report offers a contrasting perspective.
In a note to investors issued on October 26, TD Cowen analysts stated that Apple is not curtailing the production of iPhone Air units slated for 2025. The report indicates that the iPhone Air production forecasts for the month of October have been maintained at their originally projected levels.

Specifically, the forecast for the iPhone Air production volume remains at 3 million units for the third quarter of 2025 (Q3 2025) and 7 million units for the fourth quarter of 2025 (Q4 2025). Furthermore, the projections for the entire iPhone 17 product line remain unchanged at 54 million units for the September quarter and 79 million units for the December quarter.

It is important to note that even a potential adjustment to iPhone Air production volumes does not inherently indicate a lack of market success. Initial demand for Pro models frequently surpasses that of standard models, and production adjustments may be implemented to align with anticipated consumer preferences.
