Recent reports suggest that Samsung is planning to introduce the Galaxy Buds4 and Galaxy Buds4 Pro concurrently with the Galaxy S26 series. The anticipated launch date for the S26 series is now projected to be March.
Information obtained from a recently published report indicates that both the Galaxy Buds4 and Buds4 Pro models will feature redesigned charging cases. These updated cases are expected to incorporate a marginal increase in battery capacity compared to their predecessors, the Buds3 and Buds3 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro
The reported specifications for the new cases indicate a rated battery capacity of 515 mAh, which is likely to be marketed as a typical capacity of 530 mAh. In contrast, the current Buds3 and Buds3 Pro cases are specified with a rated capacity of 500 mAh and a typical capacity of 515 mAh.
This incremental increase in case battery capacity represents a modest improvement. At present, there is no confirmed information regarding any enhancements to the battery capacity of the earbuds themselves. A design refresh for the Buds4, distinct from the Buds3, has been alluded to by a leak from earlier this month.
