Pixel 10a: Leaked CAD Renders Show Forthcoming Google Phone.

Anticipation surrounds the forthcoming Google Pixel 10a, the latest addition to the Pixel 10 series. While the primary Pixel 10 devices were unveiled in August, the release of the Pixel 10a, positioned as the budget-friendly offering, has been eagerly awaited. Recent CAD-based renders provide insights into the device’s design, with a potential launch window now projected for early 2026.

These renders, derived from Computer-Aided Design (CAD) specifications, suggest a design aesthetic mirroring its predecessor, the Pixel 9a. The image depicts a flush camera island integrated into the plastic back panel, housing a dual-camera system. Display bezels appear to retain a notable thickness. The volume rocker placement, positioned below the power button, deviates from ergonomic norms, potentially affecting accessibility.

The Pixel 10a is anticipated to maintain the same screen size as the Pixel 9a. Dimensions are estimated at 153.9 x 72.9 x 9 mm, indicating minor variations in overall size compared to its predecessor. A significant departure from the trend of integrating the latest System-on-Chip (SoC) is suggested. Preliminary reports indicate that the Pixel 10a may utilize the Tensor G4, rather than the Tensor G5, albeit with a higher clocked CPU, likely as a cost-optimization strategy.

Further, the Pixel 10a is projected to launch at a starting price of $499, consistent with the Pixel 9a. This price point is expected to include 128GB of internal storage. Consistent with Google’s commitment to software support, the device is projected to receive seven years of software updates.
