Samsung has initiated the public rollout of the stable One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, for the Galaxy A06 4G and Galaxy A07 4G smartphone models. This update introduces enhancements and feature integrations aligned with the Android 16 operating system.
The firmware versions associated with this update are A065FXXU7CYJ8 for the Galaxy A06 4G and A075FXXU1BYJA for the Galaxy A07 4G. The download size for this update is approximately 2.3GB.
Currently, the rollout is underway in the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Samsung plans to extend the availability to additional regions in the near future.
It is important to note a discrepancy in security patch levels between the two models. The Galaxy A06 4G update includes the September 2025 Android security patch, while the Galaxy A07 4G receives the more recent October 2025 security patch.
Users of either the Galaxy A06 4G or Galaxy A07 4G residing in the initially supported regions who have not yet received the update are advised to manually check for its availability within the device’s settings. The update can be accessed via the “Settings” menu, specifically within the “Software update” section.
