Following the recent global rollout of HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, to Xiaomi 15 devices, the update is now extending to the Poco F7 Ultra. European variants of the Poco F7 Ultra are currently receiving the update, identified by the firmware build designation OS3.0.3.0.WOMEUXM.
The HyperOS 3 update, leveraging the Android 16 platform, represents a significant upgrade for the Poco F7 Ultra. The over-the-air (OTA) download size is approximately 7.6GB, necessitating a stable and sufficiently fast network connection for installation. European users can verify the origin of their device by examining the firmware build; devices with “EU” in the build designation are eligible. Users can initiate the update process by navigating to Settings > About phone > System update.
The HyperOS 3 update introduces several enhancements, including a redesigned user interface, performance optimizations, improved memory management, background process optimization, and enhanced power efficiency.
