This delay marks the second postponement for the next installment in the widely acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series. The development team cited a commitment to delivering a polished and refined product as the primary reason for the extended development timeline.
In an official statement, Rockstar Games expressed its appreciation for the patience and ongoing support of its audience. The company stated its anticipation for players to explore the sprawling state of Leonida and revisit the modern-day Vice City setting.
GTA VI is slated for release on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
