The nubia V80 Design has been launched in select markets. Notably, this model is also known as the ZTE Blade V80 Vita in some regions, indicating potential variations in branding across different markets.
Display and Design
The device features a 6.75-inch LCD display with a resolution of 900 x 1,940 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of 317 ppi. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and offers a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The front-facing 16MP camera is integrated within a punch-hole design, while the fingerprint sensor is located on the side of the device. The phone’s dimensions are characterized by a 7.7mm thickness and a weight of 191g.
Hardware Specifications
The nubia V80 Design is powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 22.5W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. The rear camera system consists of a “50MP AI Camera” alongside a 2MP depth sensor.
Internally, the device utilizes the Unisoc T7280 chipset, which is fabricated using a 12nm process. The chipset features two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz, complemented by a Mali-G57 MP1 GPU. The phone is available with up to 8GB of RAM, expandable via virtual RAM up to an additional 12GB. Storage capacity is fixed at 256GB, with no external storage options available. The device supports dual-SIM functionality, though the T7280 chipset only supports a 4G modem. Additional connectivity features include NFC (regional availability) and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Software and Features
The device operates on an Android 16-based software platform and includes several AI-driven features, such as real-time translation, scam detection, AI-assisted writing and smart replies, image editing, and wallpaper generation. These features are accessible via a dedicated AI button.
Additional Features
The device incorporates a communication feature called nubia Linkfree, which enables voice calls and messaging over Bluetooth even outside of cellular network coverage. The range of this feature can extend up to several hundred meters, depending on environmental conditions. The device is IP64 rated for dust resistance and splash resistance. It is offered in a range of four colors: Midnight Black, Pale Amber, Celadon Cyan, and Peach Fuzz.
Availability and Pricing
The nubia V80 Design is currently available in Malaysia, where the 8/256GB variant is priced at MYR 570 (approximately $140/€120). In the Philippines, the base model (4/256GB) is priced at PHP 5,800 (approximately $100/€85), while the 8/256GB variant is available for PHP 6,500 (approximately $110/€95).
