Philips’ Return: New Smartphones and Tablets Surface, Specs Revealed!

The Indian smartphone and tablet market is poised to experience the entry of a new brand, Philips. This is the result of a licensing agreement between Philips and a local company, Zenotel, which has acquired the rights to utilize the Philips brand for its mobile devices. Following a period of promotional activity, preliminary specifications for one of the initial devices, the Philips Pad Air, have been disclosed.
The Philips Pad Air, a tablet device, is anticipated to feature the Unisoc T606 chipset, complemented by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The display specifications include a “2K” resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. Power will be supplied by a 7,000 mAh battery, with support for 18W wired charging.

The projected launch of the Philips Pad Air is scheduled for the first quarter of the upcoming year, specifically before the end of March. Further expansion of the product line is planned, with smartwatches and laptops also slated for release under the Philips brand throughout 2026.
