Honor is poised to introduce its forthcoming 500 and 500 Pro smartphones, with official imagery of both models having been released. While preliminary specifications for the 500 Pro have circulated, details concerning its camera system have remained undisclosed until now.
A recent report provides comprehensive information regarding the Honor 500 Pro’s camera configuration. The device is expected to incorporate a primary 200MP camera utilizing Samsung’s HP3 sensor. This is complemented by a 12MP ultrawide-angle lens, offering a 117-degree field of view, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, employing Sony’s IMX858 sensor.
Further specifications suggest the Honor 500 Pro will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite System-on-Chip (SoC), accompanied by up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage. The device is anticipated to feature a robust battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging capabilities.
