A57 5G: Charging Speed Surpasses S26 Flagship Expectations?

Recent documentation from China’s 3C certification website has unveiled key specifications for the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy A57 5G, a mid-range smartphone. The certification confirms the device’s support for 45W fast charging, a specification that potentially surpasses the charging capabilities of the upcoming Galaxy S26 flagship series.
The 3C listing for the Galaxy A57 5G, identified by model number SM-A5760, details its wired charging capabilities. The certification indicates support for both 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A charging profiles, corresponding to the 45W maximum charging output.

Concurrently, the Galaxy S26 and S26+ models, the anticipated flagship devices, were previously documented on the 3C website in September. These listings indicated a maximum wired charging speed of 25W for the flagship devices.
Comparative Analysis: Charging Capabilities
This discrepancy in charging speed presents a notable differentiation between the mid-range Galaxy A57 5G and the forthcoming flagship S26 series. While the S26 and S26+ are expected to incorporate more advanced features, including superior processing power, camera systems, build materials, and display technology, the faster charging speed of the A57 5G constitutes a notable distinction.
