Following the December 2024 release of the Honor GT and the subsequent April 2025 launch of the GT Pro, preliminary details concerning the next iteration, the GT 2 Pro, have emerged.
Current reports indicate that the Honor GT 2 Pro will feature an 8,500 mAh battery capacity. Further specifications include a 6.83-inch LTPS flat OLED screen with a “1.5K” resolution, a 50MP main camera, a supplementary “small telephoto” lens, a metal frame construction, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
The device is expected to incorporate the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. According to present projections, the official unveiling of the GT 2 Pro is tentatively scheduled for December, potentially resulting in a product lifecycle of approximately eight months for its predecessor.
Compared to the GT Pro, the GT 2 Pro is poised to offer advancements in several key areas. These include a more advanced chipset, a larger display, and an increased battery capacity.
