Huawei has officially unveiled its Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro smartphones, presenting a nearly identical design aesthetic underpinned by several shared core components. This report details the key specifications and features of both devices.
Display and Design:
Both the Mate 80 and Mate 80 Pro feature a 6.75-inch LTPO OLED display with a variable refresh rate of 1-120Hz. The panel offers a resolution of 1280×2832 pixels, supports 1.07 billion colors, and provides full coverage of the P3 color gamut. Additional display characteristics include 1440Hz PWM dimming and a 300Hz touch sampling rate. Huawei claims this display achieves unprecedented brightness, reaching up to 8,000 nits. The screens are protected by second-generation Kunlun Glass.

Both models are equipped with a 5,750mAh battery. The Mate 80 Pro supports faster charging capabilities, with wired charging up to 100W and wireless charging up to 80W. The Mate 80 offers wired charging at 66W and wireless charging at 50W.
