Motorola Edge 70: Sleek Design, Solid Performance, Great Value.

Introduction

Motorola has introduced the Edge 70, a new smartphone emphasizing thinness and lightness. This device, the global variant of the China-market Moto X70 Air, strategically positions itself as the flagship of the next-generation Edge series.

The Edge series from Motorola has previously explored diverse form factors, including compact and lightweight designs, powerful yet thin profiles, camera-focused configurations, and devices with unique aesthetic features. The Edge 70 builds upon this established pattern, diverging from design approaches employed by competitors such as Samsung and Apple.

Key highlights of the Motorola Edge 70 include a 6mm profile and a weight of 159 grams, complemented by a substantial 4,800mAh battery relative to its dimensions.

The device features a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 1220p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, coupled with 12GB of RAM.

The camera system incorporates a 50MP main sensor with OIS for wide-angle and 2x zoom photography, a 50MP ultrawide camera for panoramic and macro shots, and a 50MP front-facing camera. All cameras support a minimum of 4K video capture at 30 frames per second.
