The Redmi 15C 5G is scheduled for release in India following its European debut in September. The device will be available for purchase starting December 11th at 12:00 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), with a starting price of INR 12,499.
The Indian variant of the Redmi 15C 5G mirrors the specifications of its international counterpart, sharing significant similarities with the Redmi 15C 4G model. Key features include a 6.9-inch 720p IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50MP rear camera paired with an 8MP front-facing camera, and 128GB of expandable storage. Memory configurations are offered in 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB options. The device is powered by a 6000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging. The primary distinction of the 5G model is the integration of the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, setting it apart from its 4G counterpart.
The Redmi 15C 5G will ship with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2. Xiaomi has committed to providing two years of software updates and four years of security updates for this model.
The smartphone will be available in three color options: Moonlight Blue, Dusk Purple, and Midnight Black. Pricing is as follows: INR 12,499 for the 4GB RAM variant, INR 13,999 for the 6GB RAM variant, and INR 15,499 for the 8GB RAM variant. The Redmi 15C 5G will be available for purchase through Mi.com, Amazon India, and Xiaomi’s official retail channels.
