Boox P6 Pro: Colorful E-Ink, Cellular, A New Reading Experience.

Boox, a prominent manufacturer of Android-based e-readers, is poised to introduce the P6 Pro. This forthcoming device, maintaining a form factor comparable to a smartphone, will offer several notable enhancements over previous iterations.

Furthermore, the device will incorporate a SIM card slot, enabling 4G and 5G data connectivity. This inclusion addresses a prior limitation of cellular connectivity found in some previous models. Boox has confirmed the P6 Pro will utilize a hybrid SIM/microSD card slot and support Voice over IP (VoIP) calls. While this provides functionality, the potential for cellular calls and text messaging capabilities remains unconfirmed at this time.

The official launch of the Boox P6 Pro is scheduled for tomorrow, October 9th, at 7 PM local time. The company has proactively shared promotional materials on its Weibo profile in anticipation of the release.
