Honor Power 2: Massive Battery Confirmed, Prepare for Insane Endurance!

Recent certification filings by the China Compulsory Certification (3C) have confirmed the battery capacity specifications for the forthcoming Honor Power 2 smartphone. The device is confirmed to incorporate a battery with a rated capacity of 9,886 mAh, which is anticipated to be marketed as a 10,000 mAh typical capacity upon release.

The Honor Power 2 is poised to become the first device from a major smartphone manufacturer to feature a battery with a five-digit milliampere-hour capacity. Furthermore, industry sources indicate that Honor plans to introduce two additional mid-range devices equipped with high-capacity batteries.
According to information disseminated on the Weibo platform by Digital Chat Station, the Honor Power 2 will be powered by a Dimensity 8500 system-on-a-chip (SoC). The other two planned devices will incorporate the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoCs, respectively. The precise battery capacities for these additional devices remain undisclosed at this time.
Based on previous reports, the Honor Power 2 is projected to launch in the first half of 2026. The device is rumored to feature a 6.79-inch LTPS OLED display with a “1.5K” resolution.
