Huawei to Launch MatePad Edge Tablet Alongside Mate 80 Series and Mate X7 Foldable on November 25

Huawei is scheduled to introduce its new MatePad Edge tablet on November 25th in China, concurrently with the unveiling of the Mate 80 series smartphones and the Mate X7 foldable device.

The MatePad Edge distinguishes itself with a 2-in-1 design, incorporating a detachable keyboard for versatile functionality. The device will operate on the HarmonyOS platform and features an integrated pop-out stand on the rear panel. Its camera module is characterized by a circular design housing dual sensors.

Available configurations will include options with up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of internal storage. Pre-orders for the tablet are currently being accepted through Huawei’s official Vmall online store. The MatePad Edge will be offered in the following configurations: 16GB RAM/256GB storage, 16GB RAM/512GB storage, 24GB RAM/1TB storage, and 32GB RAM/2TB storage. Color options include Moonlight Silver and Space Gray.

According to information provided by Digital Chat Station, the MatePad Edge will feature a 14.2-inch display. An anti-glare screen option will be available. The tablet will be powered by a Kirin 9 PC SoC and will incorporate an internal active cooling fan for optimal thermal management.
