Initial reports indicate the update’s availability in South Korea, specifically for participants of the One UI 8 Watch beta program. A wider distribution to general users in the region is anticipated in the immediate future.
The One UI 8 Watch update, predicated on WearOS 6, carries the build number L310XXU1BYI4. The software package is approximately 160MB in size and incorporates the September security patch.
Key features introduced by One UI 8 Watch include a redesigned user interface, featuring the “Now Bar,” enhancements to gesture controls, improved notification management, and a novel charging animation. The update also integrates a selection of new watch faces and introduces health and fitness enhancements. These upgrades encompass features such as the Antioxidant Index, Running Coach, Vascular Load monitoring, and Bedtime Guidance functionality.
