iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3: Updates Now Rolling Out!

Apple has initiated the distribution of software updates across its ecosystem. This includes iOS 26.1 for compatible iPhone models, iPadOS 26.1 for iPads, macOS Tahoe 26.1 for Mac computers, watchOS 26.1 for Apple Watch devices, and tvOS 26.1 for Apple TV.

The iOS 26.1 update introduces several user interface enhancements. A new Liquid Glass toggle provides users with the option to customize the appearance of UI elements, allowing a choice between clear and tinted designs. Additionally, a setting has been implemented to disable the Lock Screen swipe functionality that activates the Camera application.

Functionality has been refined within several core applications. Improvements have been made to Apple Music, Local Capture, FaceTime audio, Alarms, and Apple Intelligence. Specifically, Apple cites enhanced audio quality within FaceTime calls as a significant upgrade.

iOS 26.1, iPad OS 26.1 rolling out with improvements and bug fixes

The AirPods Live Translation feature now supports additional languages, including Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and Korean. Furthermore, the Fitness application incorporates a manual workout logging capability.

iPadOS 26.1 introduces a new Slide Over multitasking feature and incorporates an Apple Vision Pro application. macOS Tahoe 26.1 offers design refinements and enhanced security features. The Image Playground feature has been updated to support third-party image generation models.

Across all platforms, these updates also include general bug fixes and security enhancements to bolster system stability and user protection.
