iQOO 15: Global Model’s First Software Update After International Launch.

The iQOO 15, recently launched internationally, including in India, is receiving its inaugural software update. This update, identified by firmware version PD2505F_EX_A_16.0.18.4.W30, necessitates a download exceeding 750MB. The update encompasses comprehensive system optimizations, enhancing network performance, and improving gaming capabilities.
A key component of this update is the implementation of the November 1, 2025, Android security patch level. The changelog outlines the following enhancements:

The iQOO 15 is scheduled for open sale in India commencing December 1st, available via the iQOO official website, Amazon.in, vivo exclusive stores, and other offline retailers. The device will be offered in Legend and Alpha color options, with configurations including 12GB RAM/256GB storage and 16GB RAM/512GB storage, priced at INR 72,999 ($820/€705) and INR 79,999 ($895/€770), respectively.
The device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and operates on OriginOS 6. Notably, this makes it the first smartphone in India to feature OriginOS out-of-the-box. The iQOO 15 is slated to receive five Android OS upgrades and seven years of security updates.
Additional specifications include a 6.85-inch 144Hz LTPO AMOLED display with Dolby Vision support. The camera system comprises three 50MP rear cameras and a 32MP front-facing camera. Power is supplied by a 7,000 mAh Si/C battery, supporting 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The device is further characterized by its IP68 and IP69 ratings.
