iQOO Announces October 20 Launch Event for iQOO 15 and Related Products
iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date for its forthcoming flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15. The device will be unveiled at an event in Shenzhen, China, on October 20, commencing at 7 PM local time.
The company has also disclosed the color options for the iQOO 15, which will be available in four distinct variants in the Chinese market. These will include a model featuring a color-changing back cover.
Key specifications of the iQOO 15 have been released. The device is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 system-on-a-chip (SoC) and will operate on OriginOS 6. The display will feature a 6.85-inch 2K resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate.
Further features include a dedicated Q3 gaming chip, and an IP68/IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. The iQOO 15 will also support wireless charging functionality.
While the specific date for the iQOO 15’s international launch has not been announced, an early December debut is anticipated. The global model of the iQOO 15 is slated to utilize OriginOS, mirroring the software configuration of the Chinese version.
In addition to the iQOO 15, the October 20 event will feature the introduction of several other iQOO products. These include the iQOO Pad5e tablet, powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, the iQOO Watch GT 2 smartwatch, and the iQOO TWS 5 earphones.
