Motorola Edge 70: Specifications and Global Launch Details Emerge

Motorola has unveiled the Edge 70, the global iteration of the China-exclusive X70 Air, on its official websites in Poland and Germany. The listing provides a comprehensive overview of the device’s specifications, confirming previous speculation.

The Edge 70 will be available in three Pantone-branded color options: Gadget Grey, Lilly Pad, and Bronze Green. Each variant features a unique nylon-textured finish on the rear panel. The frame is constructed from aircraft-grade aluminum, while the front is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device has also passed specific MIL-STD 810H standards, indicating durability.

The device features a 4,800mAh battery. Despite its slim profile, Motorola claims the battery provides up to 29 hours of video playback, 66 hours of music playback, up to 8 hours of 4K video recording, and up to 10 hours of social media usage. An EU Energy label leak suggests a potential total endurance of approximately 50 hours. Charging capabilities include 68W wired and 15W wireless charging.

The Edge 70 is equipped with a 6.67-inch 120Hz pOLED display boasting a resolution of 2712×1220 pixels. The display panel is Pantone-validated for color accuracy.

The rear camera system comprises a dual 50MP configuration: a 24mm f/1.8 wide-angle lens and a 12mm f/2.0 ultrawide lens with PDAF. A 50MP camera is featured on the front of the device.

The Edge 70 will be offered in a 12GB/512GB configuration, priced at €800. Buyers will receive a complimentary gift, which could include a Moto tag, Moto Buds Loop, Moto Watch Fit, or a 68W TurboPower charger.
