Nano Banana’s New Brief: Google’s Tech Now Serves Samsung.

Google’s AI-powered image generation and editing tool, Nano Banana, has been integrated into Samsung’s Galaxy AI platform, specifically within the “Now Brief” feature.
The “Now Brief” functionality has been updated to include a dedicated Nano Banana image generation card. This card utilizes a user’s existing photo library by randomly selecting a selfie or pet photograph. It then suggests a selection of editing prompts tailored to the selected image. Users can initiate the AI-driven transformation by selecting any of the presented prompts, which will result in Nano Banana generating an AI-modified version of the image.

Users can activate this feature by updating the Personal Data Intelligence application from the Galaxy Store to its latest version. Following the update, a new “Nano Banana image creation” toggle will become available within the “Content to include” section of the Now Brief settings. Enabling this toggle activates the Nano Banana functionality. The image selection and subsequent transformation are refreshed daily, coinciding with Now Brief’s daily Memories recap generation.
