Following the September announcement of Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16, and subsequent public beta testing, Nothing has announced the scheduled release date for the stable version of its proprietary operating system.
The global rollout of Nothing OS 4.0 is slated to commence on November 21st. Concurrent with the rollout, Nothing will issue a comprehensive announcement providing further details and specifications regarding the updated operating system, supplementing the initial September release information.
The company has not specified the rollout strategy for individual device compatibility. Considering industry practices, a phased rollout across supported devices is anticipated. The Nothing Phone (3), being the flagship device, is likely to be prioritized for initial update availability.
