The 2027 iPhone model, specifically the Pro variant, is anticipated to integrate Lateral Overflow Integration Capacitor (LOFIC) camera sensors. The implementation of LOFIC is expected to yield superior image quality compared to prior generations.

Information sourced from the supply chain, as disseminated by tipster Digital Chat Station, confirms earlier reports regarding the inclusion of this feature in the iPhone 18 Pro series, with exclusivity to the Pro Max model. Furthermore, the tip suggests a larger fixed aperture for the 18 Pro Max’s 48MP periscope lens.
