The Nubia Z80 Ultra: A Detailed Overview
The Nubia Z80 Ultra, the latest flagship device from Nubia, has been unveiled and features significant enhancements over its predecessor. This new model incorporates the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, a redesigned camera system, and an improved power solution. The device was initially launched in China, with a global launch scheduled for November 6th.
The Z80 Ultra boasts a 6.85-inch BOE X10 AMOLED display, delivering a 1.5K resolution (1,216 x 2,688 pixels) and a 144Hz refresh rate. Continuing its design philosophy, Nubia has integrated an under-display camera, utilizing a 16MP sensor, to provide an uninterrupted viewing experience.
The device’s imaging capabilities have been updated with a primary camera equivalent to a 35mm lens, employing a custom 1/1.3-inch Omnivision 990 sensor. This is complemented by a 64MP periscope lens featuring a 1/2-inch sensor and 3x optical zoom. The camera system also includes an ultrawide module, offering an 18mm equivalent focal length and a 1/1.55-inch sensor.
The Z80 Ultra is powered by a substantial 7,200mAh Si/C battery, supporting 90W wired and 80W wireless charging.
