Pixel Watch: New Gestures Incoming, Google Enhances Wearable Control.

Google is actively developing enhanced gesture control functionality for its Pixel Watch series, as evidenced by a recent analysis of the latest Pixel Watch application.

The forthcoming software update will introduce “double pinch” gestures, enabling users to perform several key actions, including answering incoming calls, interacting with notifications, and initiating photo capture.

Furthermore, the development team is reintroducing wrist turn gestures, a feature previously available on Wear OS 3. These gestures will provide a mechanism for silencing incoming calls and dismissing notification alerts through intuitive wrist movements.

Although these features are demonstrably under development, the precise timeline for their public release remains undisclosed. The integration of these new gestures may occur via a future Pixel Drop, or alternatively, may be integrated into a larger-scale Wear OS platform update.
