At the recent Poco F8 series launch event held in Bali, Indonesia, Xiaomi subsidiary Poco announced the phased release schedule for its HyperOS 3 update. The Poco F8 Pro and F8 Ultra models will be pre-installed with the new operating system.
The initial wave of HyperOS 3 updates will target the Poco F7 series and the Poco X7 lineup, with rollout expected by the end of the current month. The update has already begun seeding for the F7 Ultra model.
Subsequent phases will include the Poco F6 series, Poco X6 Pro, Poco M7, Poco M6 series, and Poco C75, with updates scheduled for December.
The final phase of the rollout, spanning between December and March 2026, will encompass the Poco F5 series, Poco X6, Poco M7 Pro 5G, Poco C85, Poco Pad, and the recently introduced Poco Pad X1 and Pad M1 devices.
Xiaomi Poco F8 Ultra 5G
The HyperOS 3 update introduces a variety of user interface (UI) enhancements and feature additions. Notable among these is the “Hyper Island” feature, which dynamically presents notifications and other information around the front-facing camera cutout. Furthermore, the update incorporates several advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) functionality and related tools.
