Huawei is scheduled to officially launch the Mate 80 series on November 25th. In anticipation of the launch, the company has released a series of promotional videos showcasing key features of the upcoming devices.
The first video, featuring the Mate 80 Pro Max, emphasizes the device’s design and durability. It highlights the phone’s robust dust and water resistance capabilities, including resilience against water jets, as demonstrated in the embedded footage.
The second teaser video focuses on the photographic capabilities of the Mate 80 series. It showcases the image processing enabled by Huawei’s second-generation Red Maple imaging pipeline. Huawei has previously released sample images to further illustrate the performance of the camera system.
Prior promotional materials suggest that the Mate 80 series will include an “outdoor mode” designed to optimize battery life. Huawei claims this mode will extend battery performance to a potential duration of 14 days.
