Realme GT8 Pro Set to Debut with Realme UI 7.0 Based on Android 16
The Realme GT8 Pro is slated for a global launch this month, marking its introduction with the latest Realme UI 7.0, built upon the Android 16 operating system. This iteration represents a significant overhaul of the user interface, incorporating a design philosophy termed “Light Glass Design.” This aesthetic emphasizes transparency, depth, and fluidity, drawing inspiration from the properties of glass. Key visual elements include Ice Cube Icons, a Misty Glass Control Center, and the Breathing Dock.
Realme UI 7.0 offers enhanced customization options. Flux Theme 2.0 introduces large text themes, allowing users to tailor their visual experience. Furthermore, users can now implement panoramic views for the Always On Display, customize fingerprint unlock animations, and utilize Live Photos or videos as wallpapers, complemented by AI-generated depth-of-field effects. Additional features include new widgets, lockscreen styles, and resizable Flux Desktop Icons.
A notable advancement in this version is the integration of iPhone and Apple Watch Connect. This feature enables synchronization of health data from an Apple Watch to the Realme device. Furthermore, calls and messages originating from an iPhone will be displayed on connected Realme smartwatches.
The updated Multi-task sidebar offers streamlined access to select applications and critical system tools without requiring the user to navigate away from the current application. Under-the-hood enhancements to the Flux Engine are designed to improve overall system responsiveness by 15%, enhance app scrolling smoothness by 29%, and boost daily performance by 22%. The introduction of Seamless Animations aims to provide a more fluid user experience.
Realme UI 7.0 incorporates artificial intelligence to mitigate notification overload through AI Notify Brief. This feature consolidates non-urgent notifications into morning and evening summaries. It also offers the ability to schedule updates and create to-do lists, enhancing time management capabilities.
Additional AI-driven features include AI Framing Master, which assists users in capturing well-composed photographs by providing guidance on scene framing and explaining underlying compositional principles. Similarly, the AI Gaming Coach provides real-time insights during gameplay, offering strategic advice.
The Realme GT 7 Pro will be among the first devices to feature Realme UI 7.0. A detailed rollout schedule for the update is forthcoming. Currently, the new version is available in Open Beta for select devices.
