Realme GT 8 Pro: Live Photo Leaks, Key Specs Revealed Again!

Realme GT 8 Pro: Emerging Details on Customizable Camera Design and Flagship Specifications

Recent leaks have provided additional insights into the forthcoming Realme GT 8 Pro, supplementing existing information about the device. Anticipated to launch alongside the standard GT 8 later this month, the GT 8 Pro is generating significant interest due to its innovative design features and high-end specifications.

A key distinguishing characteristic is the ability to interchange the camera island, allowing users to modify the aesthetic of the device. This customization option is a result of a collaboration with Ricoh. Photographic evidence and teaser videos suggest that several camera island designs will be available. Implementation of this feature involves securing the island with small screws, indicating a potentially more involved replacement process compared to a tool-less mechanism.

According to reports, the Realme GT 8 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch QHD OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel will be a 10-bit, flat LTPO type, manufactured by BOE. The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM. Powering the device will be a 7,000 mAh battery with support for 120W charging.

The camera system appears to be a prominent feature, comprising a 50MP LYT-808 (1/1.4″) main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50MP ultrawide sensor (likely the Samsung ISOCELL JN5), and a 200MP HP5 (1/1.56″) periscope telephoto lens with telemacro capabilities.

Additional specifications include improved audio and haptics, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an IP69-rated body, ensuring dust and water resistance. The interchangeable camera island design does not appear to compromise the device’s sealing properties. The Realme GT 8 Pro is projected to launch with Android 16, incorporating Realme UI 7.
