Redmi has announced the forthcoming launch of its K90 series in China during the current month. The initial projection for the release was November; however, the company has expedited the launch schedule.
A significant addition to the K90 series this year will be a “Pro Max” variant, as confirmed by Xiaomi President Lu Weibing on the social media platform Weibo. This model is being marketed as a “true flagship” device.
Reports indicate that the K90 Pro Max is anticipated to be priced above CNY 4,000 (approximately $560 USD). Notably, the K90 series may forgo a standard “Pro” model, with the K90 serving as the entry-level device and the Pro Max positioned as the premium offering.
Speculative reports suggest the K90 Pro Max will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while the K90 may incorporate a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC. Furthermore, rumors point towards the inclusion of a periscope telephoto camera within the K90 series.
