Samsung Camera Evolution: 15 Years of Smartphone Innovation Unveiled.

Fifteen years ago, Samsung introduced the inaugural Galaxy S smartphone, marking a pivotal moment in mobile photography. This period has witnessed dramatic advancements in camera technology, significantly enhancing the capabilities of smartphone imaging.
The original Galaxy S, launched in 2010, featured a 5MP camera capable of 720p video recording. In contrast, the forthcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra is projected to incorporate a 200MP camera with the capacity to record 8K (4320p) video. This represents a forty-fold increase in still image resolution and a thirty-six fold increase in video pixel count.
Beyond resolution, a defining trend is the proliferation of camera modules. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is anticipated to feature a multi-camera system on its rear panel. Key components include a 50MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP periscope lens offering 5x optical zoom at a 111mm focal length, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom at a 67mm focal length.
