Samsung Internet: Seamless web browsing now expands to your desktop.

Samsung has announced the public beta release of its proprietary Internet browser for Windows PCs. This marks an expansion of the browser’s availability beyond its established presence as the default browser pre-installed on Samsung mobile devices.

The PC version of Samsung Internet is designed to facilitate a “seamless, connected browsing experience” across Samsung’s ecosystem of devices. The application allows synchronization of user data, including bookmarks and browsing history, between mobile and desktop platforms, thereby enabling continuity of browsing sessions across multiple devices.

Currently, the beta program is accessible to users of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems within the United States and Korea. The company has indicated plans for a wider global rollout in the near future.

Functionality includes support for AI-driven features, such as Browsing Assist, powered by Galaxy AI, offering enhanced browsing capabilities.
