Huawei Pura X2: Leaked Details Surface Before Its Official Launch.

Huawei’s Pura X, introduced in March, represents a distinct departure in foldable smartphone design. Unlike the prevalent “horizontal” foldables, the Pura X employs a vertical folding mechanism, akin to devices in the “Flip” category. A key differentiating factor is its unconventional 16:10 aspect ratio when unfolded, resulting in a wider display compared to its competitors within the vertical foldable market.
Based on reports emerging from China, Huawei’s experimentation with this form factor has yielded positive results, prompting the development of a successor. Rumors indicate that the company is currently engaged in the design and production of the Pura X2.

The anticipated launch timeframe for the Pura X2 is projected to be the first quarter of the following year (January to March). Preliminary reports suggest the device will be equipped with Huawei’s Kirin 9030 System-on-Chip (SoC).
This would represent a logical progression, given that the original Pura X is powered by the Kirin 9020 SoC. Currently, further technical specifications regarding the Pura X2 remain undisclosed. Additional details are anticipated to surface in subsequent reports.
