Samsung has broadened the distribution of its stable One UI 8 update, based on Android 16, following its initial release in South Korea for the Galaxy S23 series. The update, which provides the latest system enhancements and security features, is now available in a wider range of international markets.
The rollout encompasses the Galaxy S23 series, including the S23 FE. Expansion has been confirmed in Australia, Egypt, France, Germany, Iran, Malaysia, Spain, Turkey, and Ukraine.

All Galaxy S23 series smartphones receiving the stable One UI 8 update will be equipped with the September 2025 Android security patch and the suite of One UI 8 features. The update package size ranges from approximately 2.5GB to 3.5GB, necessitating a robust internet connection for successful installation.

In addition to the Galaxy S23 family, Samsung has also initiated the One UI 8 stable update for the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54. Firmware versions A346NKSUAEYI7 and A546SKSUCEYI5 are associated with these updates, respectively. The initial deployment of these updates is underway in South Korea, with broader availability anticipated in the near future.
Users of the aforementioned devices can proactively check for the One UI 8 update by navigating to their device’s Settings > Software update menu.
