Moto G100: China Launch Featuring Massive 7,000 mAh Battery.

Motorola Announces Enhanced Moto G100 Variant

Motorola has introduced a refreshed variant of the Moto G100, expanding its smartphone lineup alongside the Moto X70 Air. This updated model presents several noteworthy enhancements over its predecessor.

The primary upgrade is a significantly larger battery, rated at 7,000 mAh, supporting 30W charging. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, a processor released two years prior, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

The front of the device features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. A 32MP front-facing camera is integrated. The rear camera system comprises a 50MP primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. The phone operates on Android 15 and provides IP64 ingress protection.

It is speculated that the specifications of this new Moto G100 model align closely with the recently leaked Moto G36, which may represent the international variant.

In China, the Moto G100 is currently available for pre-sale through Lenovo China, priced at CNY 1,399 (approximately $196 USD) for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage configuration. Initial shipments are anticipated to commence on October 23rd.
