OpenAI has expanded the accessibility of its video generation application, Sora, with the recent launch of an Android version. This follows the initial release of the application on iOS platforms.
The Sora application is now downloadable via the Google Play Store. Availability is currently limited to users in specific geographic regions: Canada, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and the United States.
Sora facilitates video generation based on textual prompts and image inputs. Functionality includes collaborative features, support for diverse video styles, remixing capabilities allowing users to modify existing video content, and integrated community features for content sharing and discovery.
Furthermore, OpenAI has announced the removal of the invite code requirement in select regions, thereby streamlining access and enabling immediate video creation for eligible users.
