Vivo X300 Series: Global Launch, Premium Cameras, Flagship Features Unleashed.

vivo X300 Series Launches in Europe: Flagship Specifications and Pricing
Following their initial introduction in China earlier this month, the vivo X300 and X300 Pro smartphones have been officially unveiled in Europe at an event held in Vienna. These devices represent vivo’s flagship offerings, featuring significant upgrades in camera technology, design, and internal hardware, including the high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 9500 system-on-chip (SoC).
Both models incorporate a 90W wired and 40W wireless charging system. The vivo X300 is equipped with a 6.31-inch display, while the X300 Pro boasts a 6.82-inch screen. Both displays utilize an 8T LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and integrate an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for enhanced security and usability.
Camera Systems:
The X300 model features a versatile camera array, comprising a 200MP primary sensor (Samsung HPB), a 50MP telephoto unit (Sony LYT-602), and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The X300 Pro, on the other hand, utilizes a 200MP Samsung HPB telephoto camera, a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main sensor, and a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera. Both models share a 50MP Samsung JN1 sensor for front-facing photography and video calls.
Software and Availability:
The European launch of the vivo X300 series also marks the global debut of OriginOS, vivo’s customized Android operating system. The devices ship with Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and are supported by five years of operating system updates and seven years of security patches.
The vivo X300 is offered in Phantom Black and Halo Pink color options. The X300 Pro is available in Phantom Black and Dune Brown. Both models are immediately available for purchase.
Battery and Pricing Considerations:
It is important to note a disparity in battery capacity between the Chinese and European models. Due to certification constraints, the European versions feature reduced battery sizes. The vivo X300 integrates a 5,360mAh battery, while the X300 Pro incorporates a 5,440mAh unit. The original Chinese variants held 6,040mAh and 6,510mAh batteries respectively.
The vivo X300 Pro is priced at €1,399 for the 16GB/512GB configuration. The vivo X300 is available at €1,049 for the 12GB/256GB model and €1,099 for the 16GB/512GB version. Launch promotions include a €100 discount coupon and a complimentary charger. The optional telephoto extender kit is priced at €600, with a launch promotion offering a 50% discount. Further details, including sample photographs taken with the extender, are available in a separate hands-on article.
