vivo Introduces Y19s 5G Smartphone in India
vivo has expanded its Y series smartphone lineup in India with the introduction of the Y19s 5G. This device appears to be an incremental upgrade over the previously released Y19 5G, which was launched in the Indian market in May.
The vivo Y19s 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 System-on-Chip (SoC). The SoC is complemented by up to 6GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the device incorporates a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The front of the phone features a 6.74-inch LCD display with a high-definition plus (HD+) resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 700 nits. The front-facing camera is a 5MP sensor. Biometric security is provided via a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The rear camera system comprises a dual-camera setup, incorporating a 13MP primary sensor and a secondary depth sensor.
Powering the vivo Y19s 5G is a 6,000mAh battery, supporting 15W wired charging. The device also carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance.
The smartphone operates on Android 15-based FunTouchOS 15 and includes several artificial intelligence (AI) features. Weighing 199g, the Y19s 5G offers dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
The vivo Y19s 5G is available in two color options: Majestic Green and Titanium Silver.
