Xiaomi Commences Internal Testing of HyperOS 3 on Select Devices
Xiaomi has initiated internal testing of HyperOS 3, the company’s proprietary operating system, on a range of devices. This development follows the earlier announcement and subsequent rollout of HyperOS 3, which is based on Android 16, to supported devices. A segment of older Xiaomi handsets, ineligible for the Android 16 update, will instead receive HyperOS 3, signifying Xiaomi’s commitment to extending software support. The current internal testing phase encompasses twelve devices, as confirmed by information gleaned from Mi Community testing logs.
The following models are currently undergoing internal testing for HyperOS 3 based on Android 15:
* Xiaomi 13 Lite
* Redmi Note 13 5G
* Poco X6 Neo
* Poco F5 Pro
These four models are being tested with both Chinese and Global ROM variants. The remaining eight devices are presently undergoing testing with the Chinese ROM only:
* Xiaomi Mix Fold 2
* Xiaomi 12T Pro
* Xiaomi Civi 3
* Xiaomi 12
* Xiaomi 12S
* Xiaomi 12S Pro
* Poco F5 5G
* Poco M6 Pro
