Poco Unveils New Tablet Series: Pad X1 and Pad M1

At a global launch event held in Bali, Indonesia, Poco announced the introduction of its new tablet series, the Pad X1 and Pad M1. These devices are designed to cater to diverse user needs with distinct feature sets and specifications.

The Poco Pad X1 boasts an 11.2-inch LCD display featuring a 144Hz refresh rate, 800 nits peak brightness, and a 3.2K resolution. The display panel also supports HDR10, Dolby Vision technology, and a Sunlight mode for enhanced visibility in various lighting conditions. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Operating on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2, the Pad X1 provides connectivity via Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. It is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. Power is supplied by an 8,850mAh battery with 45W fast charging capabilities. Audio is delivered through quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, complemented by an IR blaster. The tablet features an all-metal unibody design, available in Blue and Grey color options, with a profile of 6.18mm thickness and a weight of 500g.

The Poco Pad M1 features a Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and is offered with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via a microSD card slot. This model incorporates a 12.1-inch LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2.5K resolution, and up to 600 nits brightness (HBM), supporting Dolby Vision and a Sunlight mode. It includes an 8MP rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The Pad M1 integrates a 12,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. Software features include HyperOS 2 with integrated AI functionalities and quad-speaker audio with Dolby Atmos. The Pad M1 is available in Blue and Grey, measuring 7.5mm in thickness and weighing 610g.

Pricing and Availability:

The Poco Pad X1 is available in a single 8GB/512GB configuration, with an early-bird price of $349, rising to $399 after the promotional period. The Pad M1, offered in an 8GB/256GB configuration, is priced at $279 during the introductory phase, with a subsequent retail price of $329.

Accessories:

Poco has also announced a range of accessories, including a Floating Keyboard for the Pad X1, priced at $199. Other accessories, such as a cover, a standard keyboard, and the Poco Focus Pen, are compatible with both tablet models.
