Following the public release of iOS 26.1 and iPadOS 26.1, Apple has initiated the developer beta program for iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2.
The initial beta releases, iOS 26.2 beta 1 and iPadOS 26.2 beta 1, are now accessible to registered developers possessing compatible iPhone and iPad devices. Installation of these beta builds necessitates accessing the Settings application on the respective devices.
Currently, Apple’s release notes for these beta updates do not highlight any significant feature additions. The primary focus of these builds appears to be the resolution of identified software bugs and the implementation of underlying system enhancements.
It is anticipated that Apple will subsequently release public beta versions of iOS 26.2 and iPadOS 26.2 in the near future.
